Mortlake South Wind Farm is ACCIONA Energía's fifth wind farm generating renewable energy in Australia.
Located 5 kilometres out of Mortlake, the farm is home to 35 wind turbines capable of producing 157.5 megawatts of electricity. This is enough to power 117,000 households around the size of a large regional city.
All wind farms operate under planning permission from the Victorian Planning Minister. You can read more about our approach to environment protection, noise control and working with our neighbours in the document library.

Community Engagement Committee
Moyne Shire Council establishes Advisory Committees to help in the consultative process and to provide valuable information to support the decision making of the Council. The Community Engagement Committee (an Advisory committee) for the Mortlake South Wind Farm is made up of Council and community representatives.
