About the Acciona Energía CQUniCares Scholarships

ACCIONA Energia has implemented a Scholarship and Education Program. The program supports students who choose to stay in the local area and pursue their university/TAFE education. We encourage students to study locally and potentially pursue employment locally, creating a legacy of skilled and qualified young people in the region. The program is open to local students who plan to undertake further studies at Central Queensland University (CQU) or local TAFE following their high school education. Preference will be given to those who have been accepted into a course of study in the fields of engineering, science or trades related to renewable energy or agriculture, and those students from the Mount Larcom and Yarwun areas. ACCIONA Energia and CQU work closely with local high schools to adapt and facilitate the program to meet local needs. The program is promoted, and applications are sought through local media and schools.
