ACCIONA Energía and the Wallaby Creek Wind Farm team were pleased to host a Community Benefit-Sharing Program Workshop to support the development of a Community Benefit-Sharing Program for the proposed Wallaby Creek Wind Farm.

The workshop was run to provide an opportunity for people from the Project neighbourhood along Tantitha Road to provide input into the Program. Participants included residents, representatives of a local facility, and representatives of a local business.

Workshop participants were provided with information regarding the Benefit-Sharing Guidelines for NSW and other information to help set the scene.

Participants then provided feedback on the proposed Community Benefit-Sharing Program, including Local Community Benefits, Neighbourhood Benefits, and Small Grants and Scholarship Programs.

Participants were encouraged to continue to provide feedback following the workshop.

Consultation on the Community Benefit-Sharing Program for the proposed Wallaby Creek Wind Farm is ongoing, with input being sought from other community members and stakeholders. If you’d like to provide feedback on the Program, please get in touch with our team.
