Technical Updates for EES

2 February 2026

We would like to provide an update to the community of some changes to the Tall Tree Wind Farm project that will be considered for the EES and the technical surveys going forward.

Movement of infrastructure

The project team has been working to avoid and minimise native vegetation impacts for the project, as well as other potential impacts, by refining the project layout. As a result, we have updated the community map here. Key changes include the location of some temporary construction facilities and laydown areas; the Substation, and the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). There have also been changes to the proposed locations of the semi-permanent met masts, and small shifts in some turbine locations.

Increase to capacity

We have previously communicated that the overall wind farm capacity will be up to 330 MW. This has now been increased to up to 360 MW. The change is the result of a higher capacity turbine model (Nordex N175/6.8MW) now being considered. Please note that there is no change to the maximum tip height of 250.5m being proposed or other turbine dimensions.

As always, please get in touch with us if you have any other questions or feedback at all – by email at talltree@acciona.com, by phone on 1800 283 550, via our website https://community.acciona.com.au/talltree.
