During the November 2024 Community Information Sessions, we advised community that we would be able to share the proposed transmission route for the Tall Tree Wind Farm project in early 2025. We want to thank you for your patience as we worked to identify a proposed route.

We can now share the proposed transmission route along with the turbine layout released in October 2024 that will be submitted within our referral documentation, which is still being prepared.

The proposed transmission corridor includes a 220 kilovolt (kV) overhead transmission line that follows a route of approximately 11.3 kilometres in length from Lower Plains Road to the east of Taylor Road, connecting to the existing Moorabool to Ballarat (Elaine) 220 kV transmission line.

More information about the transmission design will be released as the project progresses.
