Amended project information now available

28 January 2026

Submissions made during public exhibition, along with environmental and social constraints and constructability considerations, have resulted in the Project being amended to that which was presented in the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).

Amendments of note include the removal of 41 wind turbine generators (WTGs), a change in the location of 63 WTGs, removal of two site access points, and relocation of ancillary infrastructure.

The amended Project has significantly reduced the potential for impacts on environmental and social aspects, including a significant reduction in potential impacts to Aboriginal cultural heritage sites and a significant reduction in impacts to biodiversity values, such as the elimination of impacts to some species credit species including the Slender Darling Pea (Swainsona murrayana); and Little Eagle (Hieraaetus morphnoides).

More information regarding the updated project can be found in the Amendment Report and updated Technical Assessments, which are now available on the NSW Government Major Projects website.
