The Keri Keri Wind Farm is a proposed renewable energy project, comprising up to 114 turbines and a 200 MW / 800 MWH battery energy storage system (BESS), located in south-west NSW. The current project boundary encompasses more than 18,000 hectares of land. The area is characterised by large pastoral landholdings predominantly used for merino sheep farming. The site is exposed to consistent winds and is located within the South West Renewable Energy Zone (SW REZ), one of five areas identified by the NSW Government as a priority region for the development of renewable energy projects.
