Celebrating Community and Student Innovation in Narrogin

20 February 2026

We recently had the pleasure of taking part in two fantastic community events in Narrogin, each offering a great opportunity to connect, share updates, and support local interest in renewable energy.

At the Renewable Energy Discovery Event, we joined around 200 local students exploring future training and career pathways in clean energy. The day included presentations from local employers, a Q&A session facilitated by the Curtin Institute for Energy Transition, and participation from TAFE, Skill Hire, and several regional developers.
Our team spoke with students about career opportunities in renewable energy and ran a competition inviting them to design creative ideas for wind‑turbine blade recycling.

We were thrilled to award three students with $150 Narrogin Chamber of Commerce Shop Local Gift Vouchers, recognising their outstanding contributions:

  • Recycling Bins – Student from Narrogin Senior High School
  • Bathtub Project – Students from Narrogin Agricultural College
  • Road Signs – Student from Narrogin Senior High School

We also enjoyed attending Welcome to Narrogin 2026, where we connected with residents, local groups, and new community members. It was a warm and engaging event, giving us another chance to share project updates, answer questions, and hear what matters most to the community.

Both events highlighted the region’s growing enthusiasm for renewable energy and community‑led innovation. We look forward to supporting more local initiatives throughout the year.
