Key changes to the project design

Since our community sessions in March this year, we’ve had ongoing discussions with the community, neighbours and various interest groups, receiving feedback about the project and answering questions.

We recognise the concerns from community members about turbine locations between Lethbridge and Teesdale and we’ve looked at the project and how we can accommodate this feedback.

In response to these concerns and following discussions with the affected landowner, we have agreed that the best pathway forward is the removal of six turbines from the south-east corner of the project.

We also will be reducing the proposed maximum turbine height for the project going forward by over 20 metres, from 271.5m to 250.5m.

We believe these changes will balance community interests while still maintaining a viable project that will offer career opportunities and investment into regional economies and communities.
