As we continue the planning process for the proposed Orana Wind Farm we want to ensure ACCIONA Energía actively supports the neighbouring communities.

In early 2023, ACCIONA Energía was proud to provide $4,500 in funds to support local initiatives. This included $1,500 in funds to support the Dunedoo Show which took place in February 2023. Members of the project team were lucky enough to attend the show and appreciated the opportunity to speak with the community about the project and collect important feedback that will help shape the projects development.

ACCIONA Energía also sponsored the annual Dunedoo arts show ‘Arts Unlimited’, which has been established as one of regional Australia’s most anticipated and well supported art events. In May 2023, we contributed $3,000 in funds for the ‘Printmaking Prize’ which was won by Gary Shinfield of Woy Woy Bay.

ACCIONA Energía is proud to be able to support initiatives that contribute to the health, education, sustainability, and cultural development of the communities we work in. This support begins well before the first turbine starts to spin and continues until the end of the wind farm’s life.
