Help shape your local renewable energy project

This is your online community hub, where you can ask questions and give us feedback about the project.

The proposed Orana Wind Farm is located South of Dunedoo in the Central West Region of NSW. The project is primarily located in the Warrumbungle Shire with a small number of turbines proposed in the Mid-Western Regional Council area.

The proposed site is exposed to consistent winds and provides a suitable resource for the development of a wind farm.

The proposed project, with capacity of up to 250 megawatts (MW), has the potential to generate enough energy to power more than 175,000 homes annually.

The proposed Orana Wind Farm site is located in the Central West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (CWO REZ).
