We would like to provide an update to the local community about the proposed Nyaninyuk Wind Farm. In January, we communicated a delay in the timing of the final referral submission and community information sessions. Over the past year we have been conducting further investigations and working with landowners to understand the project area ahead of a final submission. We have also been working to understand the implications of the emerging Victorian Transmission Plan on the project timeline.

As we are still working through these items, we have decided to defer the final referral submission to 2026. Once we have clarity on the timing of the project going forward we will advise community of the updated timeline, and run information sessions in advance.
