Update on Commissioning Activities at MacIntyre Wind Farm

19 November 2025

MacIntyre Wind Farm

The wind farm is currently being commissioned and generating electricity at the maximum capacity permitted under our commissioning process with the Australian Energy Market Operator and Powerlink. This is an important step in ensuring the safe and reliable integration of the project into the grid.

As part of the commissioning process, some wind turbines are temporarily taken offline. This is a normal step to ensure that all systems of the wind farm are operating as intended.

In addition, we have completed detailed inspections of all turbine blades following the failure of a blade in December 2024. Repair works will include the replacement of the turbine. This will require some new components, including blades, to be transported to the site, and it will require repair works to be undertaken to some existing components. Commissioning and operational activities will continue during these works.
