ACCIONA Energía is proud to announce the recipients of this year's UniSQ MacIntyre Wind Farm Scholarship. Each year, this scholarship is awarded to first-year students from the Southern Downs, Goondiwindi, and Toowoomba regions, providing a one-off payment of $4,000 to assist with cost of living and university expenses, setting students up for a successful start. The scholarship aims to support local students in their pursuit of higher education and to foster future leaders in our local communities.

This year, three outstanding students have been selected for the scholarship: Alana, studying a Bachelor of Education (Primary); Harrison, pursuing a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Honours); and Wei, studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours). These students have demonstrated exceptional academic potential, a strong commitment to their chosen fields and local communities. We would like to congratulate all three students on their successful application!

We are immensely grateful to the UniSQ team, particularly Stephen Holden (Director of Advancement), Stephanie Flemming (Advancement Coordinator), and Maria Figueiredo (Donor Experience Coordinator), for their invaluable support in getting this scholarship off the ground. Their dedication and effort have been instrumental in creating opportunities for our students and a brighter future for our communities.
