Our team recently had the privilege of visiting one of our small grant recipients, Tennille Bankes from Wildlife Empire, at her sanctuary near Inglewood. Wildlife Empire is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing a safe haven for native animals until they are ready to return to the wild. Watch the video below.

Tennille has devoted her life to caring for Australia’s wildlife. From owls affected by baiting, to orphaned joeys (kangaroos, wallabies and possums), injured bats, birds caught in storms or attacked by pets, and reptiles needing specialist support — each animal receives personalised care with the ultimate goal of release back into its natural habitat.
