ACCIONA Energía publishes its 2025 Clean Energy Council Best Practice Charter Report

5 November 2025

As a signatory to the Clean Energy Council’s Best Practice Charter for Renewable Energy Projects, ACCIONA Energía is proud to reaffirm its commitment to responsible development, transparent engagement, and long-term community partnerships across Australia.

Our 2025 report outlines how we are delivering on the Charter’s ten commitments, with initiatives that reflect our ‘Community First’ approach and our dedication to environmental and cultural stewardship.

Key highlights from the report include:

  • Launch of the Turbine Made initiative, featuring the world’s first surfboards made from decommissioned wind turbine blades.
  • Investment in First Nations communities, including mentorship programs for students in Warwick, Queensland through the MacIntyre Wind Farm.
  • A new financing model that links renewable energy investment with measurable local benefits, enabling the funding of Queensland Farmers’ Federation’s Energy SQ program, which delivered energy audits and technical advice to 87 farms across Southern Queensland.
  • Use of Australian-made components at the Aldoga Solar Farm, supporting local manufacturing and supply chains.
  • Long-term land stewardship and erosion control at Cathedral Rocks Wind Farm, including native vegetation restoration and pest management.

This report reflects our ongoing commitment to transparency, accountability, and excellence in community engagement. We believe that every renewable energy project should leave a positive legacy for the communities it touches.
